Combining environmental resource issues with community participation in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador.Ecuador Amazing offers the following Jungle Tour:

CUYABENO NATURE TOUR 1 (5 Days/4 nights)

Day 1: Arrive by bus or plane to Lago Agrio, a bus ride to the control point of the reserve. Boarding a canoe you will float down several rivers until you get to the Selva Rica Cuyabeno Camp. In the afternoon you go jungle walking. Dinner and brief discussion.

Day 2: Early morning birdwatching. Breakfast and departure on jungle trek (3 hours). The guide will explain to you the natural power of the plants. Lunch in the afternoon there will be time to fish piranhas. Return to the camp and discussion.

Day 3: Breakfast and visit to an Indian Community where if it is possible we will see the Shaman. Lunch. In the afternoon walk around the Indian Community to be in contact with the Indigenous and their lives. Dinner and at night we will go to see alligators.

Day 4: After breakfast departure by canoe to take a walk in the deep jungle, arounf the Aguas Negras River. Box lunch and return to the camp at night. Rest, relax and fishing time. Special last night dinner.

Day 5: Early in the morning short walk to see birds. Breakfast and we will go by canoe to the port to take the bus back to Lago Agrio to take the plane or bus to return to Quito.

CUYABENO NATURE TOUR 2 (4 Days/3 nights)

3. HOW TO GET THERE
Traveling by bus takes 8 hours from Quito to Lago Agrio, or by plane the trip os about 30 minutes (TAME airline).

4. WHAT TO BRING
Mosquito repellent, sunblock, t-shirts, shorts, swimming suit, hat raincoat, pants, camera film (400 ASA recommended).
