Isla de la Plata off the coast of Puerto López, Los Frailes Beach, the Archeological Site of AguaBlanca, Salango, and the Beaches of Puerto Rico and Puerto Cayo. "Machalilla" takes its name from one of the precolumbian cultures that inhabited this area. The Valdivia, Chorrera and Manteña Cultures also inhabited this land of a template climate and extraordinary landscape.
EAg 509 Isla de la Plata Departure: Every day 09:00 Duration: 8 hours Departure by Amazing I yacht, after a 1 hour trip we arrive at Isla de la Plata (a continental Galápagos). Walk and trek over 3 hours admiring the flora and fauna of this island, which is similar to the Galápagos Islands. There are blue footed boobies, frigates, masked boobies on our trail. After a box lunch, there’s time to snorkel. Humpbacked whales can be seen from middle of June to middle of September. Return to Puerto López and stay overnight at Piedra del Mar Hostal.
Tour includes: Transportation by car and Amazing I yacht, brunch and box lunch, local guide. Does not include: Machalilla National Park entrance fee $20 and tips.
