San Antonio Valley and farm (INTAG TOUR)
The valley and farm are about 8 km north of the village of Cuellaje (pronounced kwey-ya-hey). Cuellaje is also the name of one of the 5 parishes that go to make up Intag. The San Antonio area is mountainous – altitude 2600metres approx., and abundant in meadows, streams and cloud forest.

As mentioned, the valley borders the enormous (240,000 hectare) cotocachi-cayapas nature reserve, the biggest reserve in Ecuador, and recognized the world over for the diversity of plant and animal life that it contains.

The valley community consists of about 40 households, and people here are remarkably friendly.The farm itself is 40 hectares, consisting of untouched cloudforest, woods, streams and meadows.
